Robert T. Lynch is a founding partner of the San Francisco law firm Lynch, Gilardi & Grummer. Over his 50 year career, Mr. Lynch has tried over 200 cases in the areas of products liability, professional negligence, catastrophic personal injury litigation and business litigation. He is listed in the Best Lawyers in America and has participated as an advocate in the American Board of Trial Advocates' Masters in Trial program.

Mr. Lynch devotes his practice to major trials and to the mediation and arbitration of civil disputes. He has mediated over 100 cases involving personal injury, products liability, medical malpractice, professional negligence and business litigation. His expansive trial and mediation experience allows him to guide parties to a realistic, reasoned and cost-effective resolution to their case. His training includes completion of a forty hour program in the theories and practice of mediation.

Mr. Lynch serves on the panel of mediators for the San Francisco, Santa Clara and Contra Costa Superior Courts. He has acted as a settlement judge for the San Francisco and Marin County Superior courts. Mr. Lynch has also served as Judge Pro Tem for the San Francisco Court. In addition, he has arbitrated numerous cases in San Francisco and Marin Counties.

Mr. Lynch earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of San Francisco (B.S. 1960, J.C. 1963). He is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Board of Trial Advocates, a Founding Fellow of the Edward J. McFetridge American Inn of Court, a member and past board member of the Defense Research Institute, a fellow with the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, a Diplomat of the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys and an instructor for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. He has lectured on trial practice before several local and national organizations. Additionally, he is Board Certified in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
