For more than twenty years, Ms. Madden has successfully represented her clients in all aspects of litigation. As an experienced trial lawyer, Ms. Madden's practice has been devoted primarily to defending health care providers against claims of professional negligence in the civil courts and representing both individuals and businesses on employment law disputes, including harassment and discrimination actions.

Her medical malpractice experience includes advocating on behalf of her clients in matters before the state licensing boards and presenting risk management seminars at health care facilities. Ms. Madden has been a presenter at professional medical conferences in which she demonstrates and simulates trial examination techniques.

As part of her employment law practice, Ms. Madden also advises her clients on legal compliance in hiring, disciplinary and termination practices, workplace investigations, and disability, family, and medical leave of absence issues. She has successfully represented employers responding to complaints filed with the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the Equal Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor, and the courts. She has presented numerous seminars for human resources departments and corporate management groups in both the private and non-profit sectors. A feature writer, her articles have appeared in numerous publications including The Job Description (published by the Employment Committee of the Defense Research Institute,) The Pacific Law Journal, and The San Francisco Daily Journal. She has also served as a mediator for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Ms. Madden is a member of the San Francisco Bar Association, and the Employment Law Section of the State Bar of California. Ms. Madden also proudly serves on the Board of Directors of the Felton Institute, a historic non-profit dedicated to providing a wide array of social and mental health services.

Ms. Madden earned her Juris Doctorate from the McGeorge School of Law in 1987. Thereafter, she joined Lynch, Gilardi & Grummer and became a partner in 1995. Ms. Madden is admitted to practice law in the State of California and the United States Court-Northern California.
